No garbage or bulk pickup is scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Remember, residents’ monthly bulk pickup schedule depends on the day of the week your regular garbage is picked up.

The City’s Sanitation Department announces that for Nov. 2025, the free monthly bulk item pickup (one large item, such as an appliance, TV, or mattress) schedule is as follows:

For November, bulk pickups are scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday garbage: Bulk pickup is scheduled for Nov. 19
  • Thursday garbage: Bulk pickup is scheduled for Nov. 28
  • Friday garbage: Bulk pickup is scheduled for Nov. 28

*Note: Bulk pickup regularly scheduled for Thursday and Friday pickups in November both will occur on Friday, November 28 because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

This free service is for ONE ITEM only, such as an appliance, TV, mattress, or piece of furniture.

To schedule and pay for a Special Trash Pickup, such as a truck bed- or dumpster-sized load, please call 304.636.1414, ext. 1437.
