Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way to connect with your community and help keep Elkins beautiful. Whether you have a few hours a month or can commit to an ongoing project, your time and energy will make a meaningful difference. Here are some ways to get involved:
- Downtown litter collection and beautification (large groups welcome): contact the mayor’s office.
- Parks and recreation projects: contact the Elkins Parks and Recreation Commission.
- Local organizations that organize events year-round, including Citizens Promoting Community, may need volunteers from time to time. Follow them on their Facebook page.
