The Elkins Police Department (EPD) is committed to the public’s safety, integrity, and professionalism. This page provides information about the department’s mission, principles, and contact information.

EPD’s mission is to provide public safety and maintain order while upholding the United States Constitution and the West Virginia Constitution. The department consists of a police chief, 14 sworn law-enforcement officers, and two non-sworn administrative personnel.
