City Hall Closed Monday, Jan. 26 Due to Weather

By order of the mayor, Elkins City Hall offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, due to the extreme weather and dangerous road conditions.

First responders and essential employees will be working. If your regularly scheduled garbage collection day falls on Monday, the sanitation crews will pick up your trash; just understand it may occur far later than normal.

If there’s an emergency, call 911.

Please limit any driving unless it’s absolutely important so all snowplow operators can continue to do their best to clear the roads.

Stay safe and thank you in advance for your patience.
