RFP for 119 Main Street Structure
The City of Elkins will accept sealed bids for demolition and reclamation of a structure located at 119 Main Street.
Sealed bids must be received by the City of Elkins on or before Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Sealed bids can be delivered in person to:

All sealed bids must be CLEARLY marked Sealed bid for Demolition.
On that day (August 21, 2026) all sealed bids will be opened at 10:30 a.m. and read aloud. Interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening at the above-mentioned date and time.
No bids will be accepted after the deadline. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of (90) days after the time of the bid opening without the consent of the City of Elkins. The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularity therein.

SOQs for Downtown and Riverfront Projects
The City of Elkins seeks statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified engineering teams for two major initiatives that will revitalize its downtown and riverfront.
The projects will enhance connectivity between downtown and riverfront areas through the creation of community-centered public spaces that strengthen the Elkins’ economic development, recreation opportunities, walkability, and community identity.
SOQs are due by August 7, 2026, and must outline each team’s qualifications and experience in engineering, urban design, and related technical services.
