Jingle All the Way at Elkins’ Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting: Friday, Dec. 5, 6pm
The holiday spirit keeps glowing here in Elkins: Mark your calendars for another festive community evening this Friday, December 5, starting at 6:00 PM.
The celebration kicks off with the “Jingle All the Way” Christmas Parade, featuring the town’s official “Elfkin,” Snikle. Following the parade, we are inviting everyone in the community to gather at Elkins Town Square off of Railroad Avenue for a special moment you and your friends and family will not want to miss: Mayor Jerry Marco and his wife, Paula, will host the official lighting of the community’s new Christmas tree at the Depot/Elkins Town Square.
Residents of Elkins and across Randolph County are warmly encouraged to attend this free, family-friendly event. The fun continues after the tree is aglow! Head to the Rotary Amphitheatre Stage for free photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus (do not forget your own camera!) and enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.
Join Friday evening’s festivities your neighbors—old ones and new—and help launch yet another holiday season. See you there!
