As of March 9, 2026, Contractors are invited to bid on a project to demolish and reclaim three structures in Elkins:
The City of Elkins is accepting sealed bids until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Bids must be delivered to the Office of the City Clerk at 216 4th St., Elkins, WV 26241, or mailed to 401 Davis Ave., Elkins, WV 26241.
All envelopes must be clearly marked “Sealed bid for Demolition.”
The bids will be opened and read aloud starting at 11:30 a.m. on the same day at 216 4th Street. Interested parties are welcome to attend.
No bids will be accepted after the deadline. Once submitted, bids cannot be withdrawn for 90 days without the consent of the city. The City of Elkins reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding process.
Bid packets can be picked up in person at the Elkins Fire Department (please call 304-636-1414, ext. 1110 so an employee can let you in) or downloaded from the links posted below. To request a packet by email, contact Jessie Kittle at jkittle@cityofelkinswv.gov.
