City Hall News: Week of October 4, 2026
The Treasurer’s Department and Municipal Court will reopen at City Hall, 401 Davis Avenue, on Monday, October 5, following their move back into the building. Other City Hall offices will be moving back in over the coming weeks.
City offices and regular trash collection schedules also return to normal this week following the Mountain State Forest Festival.
The Personnel Committee meets Monday at 1 p.m., followed by the Rules and Ordinances Committee at 3:30 p.m. The Personnel Committee will consider a proposed employee grievance procedure and municipal court staffing, among other matters. Rules and Ordinances will continue discussions concerning Council rules, animal ordinance fines, and the regulation of e-bikes and electric scooters.
The Tree Board meets Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Utility and in-city Fire & Rescue Service Fee bills were mailed September 30 and are due October 20. Third-quarter 2026 Business & Occupation tax returns were also mailed September 30 and are due October 31.
